Do you want or need experience in the nonprofit sector? Do you want to grow your professional skills and need a doable internship this summer?
Dive in to The Pool and help save lives by providing clean water!
Fresh Water Friends is looking for passionate, globally-minded college sophomores, juniors and seniors to join The Pool, a collaborative team-based internship working to extend the love of Jesus Christ by bringing clean, fresh water to thirsty communities around the world.
In The Pool, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your skills in a professional setting, working directly with the staff and board of our nonprofit, and networking with other nonprofit professionals. Pool members will work together on outreach, storytelling, content creation, fundraising, donor communications, and more. Pool members will meet remotely on a biweekly basis to plan upcoming communications, and engage in a monthly seminar designed to introduce you to all aspects of nonprofit program and management, including international operations, marketing, and strategic planning. As inaugural members of The Pool, you will have the opportunity help create dynamic solutions to help transform lives through clean water.
Fresh Water Friends (www.freshwaterfriends.org) is a 501(c)3 public charity committed to bringing fresh, life-giving water to villages suffering from water scarcity in Africa and South Asia. This is a volunteer service opportunity requiring approximately 3-5 hours per week of hands-on time, May 15 through August 23 (some flexibility is available based on your school's academic calendar). Course credit may be available according to the terms of your specific college or university.
