Fresh Water Friends® Provides Drilling Oversight
The Executive Director of FWF graduated Oswego State College (SUNY) with a degree in geology. He subsequently worked as an environmental geologist supervising drilling rig operations for soil and bedrock investigations in Florida and New York. This work involved environmental impact studies, feasibility studies, borehole drilling operations, water quality investigations, well monitoring, bedrock assessment, groundwater remediation, along with surface water, groundwater, air, soil, and rock sampling according to State and Federal (EPA) guidelines.
Some of our field contacts in India, Pakistan, and Uganda often need guidance as they supervise the drilling well programs for FWF. The Director’s experience allows him to provide such guidance as:
- Consulting on water well feasibility issues.
- Developing individualized standard operating procedures (SOP) for the drilling program.
- Following the implementation of the program through completion and reporting.
- Ensuring financial oversight and accountability for the programs.
